Interpretation etching by Boilly from a pencil drawing by the orientalist painter and landscape artist Georges-Antoine-Prosper Marilhat (Vertaizon, 1811 – Paris, 1847). Proof on wove paper printed by Delâtre, Paris and published by the magazine L’artiste, a French illustrated weekly magazine published from 1831 to 1904.
